Executive Director -Eric Awortwe
Eric Awortwe holds a Master of Science in Microfinance Management from the University of Cape Coast-Ghana, complemented by a Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. He is also currently undertaking a Master of Business Administration in Accounting at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. Eric is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Ghana. Before becoming the CEO of Empowerment Foundation FNGO, Eric served as a Finance and Human Resource Manager at SALT TO GHANA FNGO for over a decade and also served as the Secretary to the Board of SALT TO GHANA for over half a decade. He has also been a coopted member of the Executive Council of the Association of Financial NGOs in Ghana. Eric brings to the company a deep understanding of microfinance mechanisms, strategic planning skills, and a proven track record in enhancing operational efficiency within non-profit settings.
Board Secretary - Miss. Emma Efua Creland
Emma Efua Creland holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting Option). She is also a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. Emma's journey with Empowerment Foundation Fngo started with her national service with the company and due to her commitment and hard work she was engaged in full-time employment and rose through ranks to become the Accountant of the company. Emma is currently the Finance and HR Manager of the company with wealth of experience and expertise
Board Chairman - Dr. Emmanuel Otutei
Dr. Emmanuel Otutei is a seasoned professional in the field of Environmental Protection and Social Development, holding a PhD in Environmental Studies from the University of Adelaide, Australia. He also holds a Master of Science in Africa and International Development from the University of Edinburgh, UK. Prior to joining Empowerment Foundation Fngo’s Board, he served as Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant at Organization for Livelihood Enhancement Services (OLIVES). Dr. Otutei also holds a degree in Bible Theology from Old Path Baptist College, Australia and is currently the Pastor of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Anomabo, Cape Coast.
Non-Executive Director - Mr. Emmanuel Julius Gadze
Emmanuel Julius Gadze is a seasoned professional in the field of Insurance and Financial Literacy. He holds a Master of Science in Occupational Health and Safety Risk Management from Accra Institute of Technology. He also holds Bachelor of Science in Building Technology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Emmanuel is a Chartered Insurer and an associate member of Chartered Insurance Institute, UK. He served as the branch manager for SIC Life Insurance Ltd at the Cape Coast branch for over seven years. He is currently serving as the Head of Direct Debit Unit and doubles as the Head of Loans Management Unit of SIC Life Insurance Ltd.
Non-Executive Director - Mr. Thomas Graber
Thomas Graber is an expert in Information Technology who holds two Microsoft Certificates as an MCTP. He is an expert in Installation and Configuration of Microsoft Dynamics. Thomas served as the Managing Director for SALT To Ghana Fngo for three years from 2018 to 2023. He currently serves in several leadership roles in the church and work place in the USA.
Non-Executive Director - Mr. Javier Barros De Lis Arteche
Javier holds a Master's degree in Finance from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Cardiff University. He is an expert in Impact Investment and is currently serving as an Investment Analyst in Zubi Capital Venture Finance in Spain. Javier also holds training and experience in Global risk management and Retail credit.

Samuel Freeman Dadzie
Samuel Freeman Dadzie holds diplomas in Psychology and Foundation of Education from the University Of Cape Coast in Ghana. Additionally, he possesses a valid Driving License B from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority of Ghana. This combination of psychological insight and practical driving skills makes him well-equipped for roles that involve both interpersonal interaction and transportation responsibilities.
